Trip to Mount Fan Si Pan in northern Vietnam, Lao Cai province.

After 5 hours climbing the mountains we reach the height of 2400m,but there was a big forest fire 2 weeks ago so that we have established our base camp at 2100m height on the other side of the mountain.

After the trip to Mount Fan Si Pan, we stay in Sapa for one night. In the morning, I see a nice Sphingidae, Langia zenzeroides (Moore 1872).

In the next morning, we drove the whole day to another interessting place. Tam Dao 950m height about 50 km nordwest from Hanoi.

The last day's I visit my friend Tilo Nadler from the Endangered Primate Rescue Center and stay near Cuc Phuong about 120 km south of Hanoi
